Ingredients
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 cucumber, peeled, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried mint
- Fresh mint, chopped, for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Total Time: 10 minutes
- Yield: 1 cup
Preparation
- Sprinkle the salt on the minced garlic, and using the back of a chef's knife, press down and crush the garlic into a paste. Put the yogurt in a mixing bowl and add the garlic, mixing well.
- Stir in the cucumber and dried mint. Taste and add salt and pepper if desired. Cover and refrigerate at least two hours before serving. When ready to serve sprinkle on the fresh mint garnish.
