These collar fit great and are flat for comfort, but the safest way to control a pup is the harness. There are different types of harnesses that get tighter as the dog pulls but we prefer the type of harness that adjusts to the dogs size and stays snug through out the walk or activity. Choosing Nylon is a must for us. It can be manipulated in to every type of shape and size and is again very comfortable for your doggy. Plus, we found a Harness that attaches right to the collar, so amazing for a quick and secure connection to your pooch. Now for the leash. We believe a retractable leash is great for smaller dogs and quick walks, but when it comes to big dogs and you need the assurance that your leash will hold strong no matter what you go through then we again pick 550 para cord or nylon. Depending on what you are doing, you can keep the length of your dogs reach at a length you know is safe and give you the confidence to hold your dog back in any situation. This can be great concern for a large dog owner, but with a 550 paracord leash, you will not have to worry because the hold will stay strong. There are many options out there for you and your pooch.
