How to Get a Tee Time
- 1). The first step to getting a tee time is deciding which course you would like to play. One way to choose a course is to simply look in the phone book but another option is to search online and read reviews as well as course details. It's important to find a course that fits your skill level so the game remains a challenge without becoming a frustration.
- 2). Now that you have decided which course you want to play it's time to make your tee time. Typically you want to make your tee time at least two days in advance but take into account the season and the popularity of the course. You may need to make a reservation a month in advance or more for a popular course during the summertime.
- 3). Some courses are now offering the ability to book your tee time online at the course website. This can be a good option for busy golfers because it allows you to search through multiple days and choose the tee time that best fits into your schedule. However, if this is not an option it is best to call the course pro shop and ask for all available tee times for the day you wish to play. Once you find a time that works for you book it and your ready to play.
- 4). If your having trouble getting a tee time at a busy course your best chances are to play early in the morning or late in the afternoon. While early morning tee times may seem undesirable they are actually some of the best times to play golf because there are very few groups on the course and the greens are fresh and void from all the footprints and ball marks that come with a busy day of golf.
