How to Rip & Burn Karaoke
- 1). Make sure you are connected to the Internet. Then go to "Start" > "Programs" > "Windows Media Player."
- 2). Click the "Rip" tab, and insert the CD/DVD that contains the karaoke tracks to be ripped. By default, the Windows Media Player will start ripping now. If you want, uncheck the boxes next to a song that you don't want to rip. You can also temporarily stop the ripping process by clicking "Stop Rip" at the bottom of the "List" pane. Check the box next to each song that is to be ripped, click "Start Rip" at the bottom of the list pane and wait for the songs to be ripped. You will find the ripped songs in the library once they have been copied successfully.
- 3). Eject the CD/DVD from the computer disk drive.
- 4). Click "Library" on the Windows Media Player window. You will now see an expandable view of all the media items you ripped.
- 5). Drag and drop all the songs from the library to the current playlist.
- 6). Click "Now Playing List," and select the option "Burn List."
- 7). Drag and drop the songs from the current playlist to the "Burn List." Then drag them up and down in the list to change the order of the burn list.
- 8). Insert a blank DVD into the computer's DVD drive. Then click "Start Burn" at the bottom of the screen, and select "Audio CD."
- 9). Click the "Start Burn" button again. Depending on the number of songs that are to be burned, it could take up to a few hours. When the computer finishes burning songs, it will eject the DVD.
