Why Should I Quit Smoking Nicotine?

You have to be thrilled or excited, at least a little bit, by the idea that this of that reason is finally going to help you quit the bad habit.
There has to be some kind of passionate reason, one that makes you excited, coming from within you. If you found your reason that makes you excited somehow, I know that it will take you less effort to succeed.
So, what other reasons then the obvious health related reasons (like lowering risk for cancer, heart attacks, strokes, etc) are there that could help you find the right motivation? Here are a few suggestions, but keep in mind, this is not a complete list. There are probably dozens of other reasons as well. Ok, so here they are, a few of my life improving thoughts....
* You will feel a lot better right away, having more energy and better focus. I also know that your smell and taste will improve. Teeth get whiter, your breath will be fresher and there will be less coughing as well.
* You will be proud of yourself! You will automatically be a better role model for others and if you have children, you will set a better example for them.
* Not only you will be proud of yourself, I bet others will be very proud of you too, like your partner, friends, family, kids, grandchildren or co-workers.
* You will no longer expose others to your second hand smoke. And if you are pregnant, you will have a healthier baby.
* You will be able to walk up stairs without being short of breath.
* You will have more control over your life, without worries like when or where you will have your next smoke, even (or especially) in smoke free places. On top of that, you will have more time for yourself, for instance, you will never have to worry about quickly buying a pack of cigarettes anymore or searching for a light.
* You will have more money to spend. How cool is that?
