How to Boost an Analog TV Channel
- 1). Check the connection between the television and the antenna. The cable may be loose or incorrectly inserted.
- 2). Manipulate the power of your antenna using the dial on the display. However, turning the power all the way up for each station is not always going to work. Adjust the power of the antenna only when you want to increase the analog signal, and you may find a lower power frequency actually gives you better picture and sound.
- 3). Purchase an antenna with an increased signal range. Signal ranges can vary from 20 to more than 100 miles. The longer the signal range, the better is your station reception.
- 4). Adjust the location of your antenna. Move it around until you get the best possible picture and audio. Eventually you will remember the best location for each station.
