How to Arrange Flower Pots
- 1). Choose flower pots that relate to each other. The arrangement will be more aesthetically pleasing if there is a connection between the different pots. For example, they could be all the same color, but different shapes or they could be all the same shape, but different colors.
- 2). Arrange your flower pots in various heights. If you are working with three flower pots, the pots (or the height of the flowers) should be three different heights.
- 3). Place the flower pots in a triangular shape; always put the tallest one in the back so it does not block the view of the shorter pots. If you have five flower pots, work the same triangular shape, with the larger three toward the back and two shorter ones in the front.
- 4). Think about the color and texture of the flowers and plants in your pots. If you have a very formal landscape, monotones may work well. You might choose to have flower pots in various locations with the same flowers or the same colors, as well as the same kind or color of pots. With an informal garden, various textures and colors in the pots will match the outdoor decor better, giving more interest to the arrangement.
