How to Build PVC Deer Feeders

24
    • 1). Choose an area for the feeder. You want the feeder close enough that you can see the deer when they visit it, but having a feeder in a residential area can be obnoxious and dangerous. Where you should place it depends on where you live.

    • 2). Find an anchor, such as a post or stump, for the feeder. The anchor should be narrow enough that you can tie the feeder to it but wide enough to be secure and withstand weather and wear.

    • 3). Fit the PVC pipe section into the 45-degree joint. Gluing will add extra stability but is not necessary.

    • 4). Hollow out a shallow hole at the base of the pole or stump you have chosen for your anchor. It should only be an inch or two deep and about a foot across.

    • 5). Place the PVC pipe along the post so that the jointed end rests in the shallow hole you dug, and the 4 feet extend vertically along the anchor.

    • 6). Secure the PVC feeder to the post with rope or twine, placing one band near the top of the feeder and another near the joint.
