Social Media Marketing - Be a Hero, Solve Your Clients Problems (4 Tips Just For You)

24
You can definitely use social media to solve your clients' problems.
Most people go online looking for answers to their problems.
Yes we also go online for entertainment but wouldn't it be wonderful if you could entertain and answer the questions at the same time.
Find out what your customers or clients top 10 problems are.
Here are 3 possibilities...
1) do a survey, I personally use SurveyMonkey to run surveys.
Post a survey on your Facebook page, Post a survey on you blog, 2) send out an email, 3) You can also go to forums.
Find the forums that are in your niche and take a look, do some research.
What are your customers or clients asking for? What are they asking about? What are their big concerns? 4) Discover their problems using groups.
Whether it be a Facebook group, a LinkedIn group, a Yahoo group.
There are thousands of different groups online.
Research where your customers and clients are hanging out, go there and seek out their questions.
Once you have that list of top 10 questions, answer them.
You definitely want to answer using different formats, appeal to all the different ways that people learn.
The first format is a blog post.
Many people only do text in their blog posts, you want to do more than that.
Be sure to include pictures for those folks who are very visual! While at an event I was watching the people on each side of me check their Facebook profiles.
They scrolled until they saw a picture they liked and then they stopped and read the post.
Be sure to include interesting pictures that encourage people to stop and read your posts.
Audio files will also help you to appeal to the different senses that people have and the different learning styles.
You could just simply take your blog post and read it out, put it in the blog itself as an alternate way of consuming your information.
Let people know "if you would rather listen to this, load it onto your iPod, then here's an option for you to do that.
" Videos, same thing with video.
You want to appeal to all of the senses.
With video you can just simply put the main points on a power point presentation, lead the article and run the PowerPoint presentation.
Record the whole process and there you have a video.
Answering the questions that your customers and clients have is one great way to demonstrate your expertise!
