Editor in Chief of Shonen Jump (U.S.) and VIZ Media Vice President of Magazines Marc Weidenbaum announces new Inoue graphic novel releases for 2008.

Marc Weidenbaum, Editor in Chief of Shonen Jump Magazine and VIZ Media's Vice President of Magazines makes it official: VIZ will be releasing their new edition of the Slam Dunk graphic novels in September 2008. Here, he shows off the December 2007 issue of Shonen Jump, which features a color preview of the first chapter of Slam Dunk, Inoue's breakthrough sports manga series about high school basketball.

VIZ Media also announced the July 2008 release of the first volume of Real, Inoue-sensei's current manga series about basketball players in wheelchairs, trying to overcome their mental and physical barriers to play a sport they love.
