Swimming Rafts And Floats Add A Relaxing Aspect To Your Pool

32
Swimming pool floats and rafts have come a long way since the days of inner tubes that had stems that poked into your skin or blow up air mattresses that the kids used that never seemed to hold air for more than a day of swimming.
Today's floating pool accessories are sturdy and comfortable enough to hold couples and come with drink holders.
Rather than relaxing poolside you can rest comfortably enjoying the soothing sounds of the water lapping at the raft.
You can choose a lounge that has waterproof zipper storage compartments where you can stash your suntan lotion or even a magazine.
Many of today's lounges come with adjustable backrests and pillows so you have the back support that you need in order to fully take advantage of the lounging experience.
There are even rafts that have inflatable footrests.
If you'd prefer to float in the shade while still being in the water, you can look into installing a water hammock.
Adding a shaded, shallow end to your pool can make a great place to simply be out on the water and relax in the pool while staying out of the way of those frolicking in the deeper water.
Don't think you have to give up on the old fashioned kiddie floats and rafts though because the children still like them for floating and kicking around on.
You can also look for beach balls and other flotation devices but please remember, a floating device is no replacement for having an adult on hand at all times when the kids are in the pool.
