We at Smallbone were proud to be a part of refurbishing RaymondBlanc's cookery school, and to help create an excellent culinary institution with style and functionality at its best. Monsieur Blanc wanted us to create a durable and strong cabinetry system that could take the pressure of the continuous use by his students for eight hours a day and seven days a week. But still have enough subtlety that complements La Manoir's delicate environment and surroundings.

His world renowned restaurant Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons is a tranquil 15th century manor house set in Oxford shire.  Its name is now synonymous with style, taste and sophistication.

The kitchen layout has a central demonstration area and is divided into individual work stations for the students who continually flow throughout this culinary institution. The work stations are constructed about the perimeter of the room.  We used our special Mandarin kitchen collection that is made with European oak wood of the finest quality and grain to adorn raymond blanc kitchen.

When it comes to kitchen storage solutions, most of us are almost baffled by what to chose and how to plan it all as this is the most essential room which requires a good storage solution plan. Here are a few tips you could use when deciding a storage plan for your kitchen:

1. Choose the new cabinetry wisely, as a good cabinetry can transform any useless, mundane, kitchen into a fully functional, multitasking friendly space that is also forward in style and décor. With so many options to choose from these days, and numerous choice of paneling, it may often become an overwhelming task to choose the right cabinetry for your home.
2. The first step to be kept in mind when organizing your kitchen is to know exactly why you are remodeling it in the first place. Is it only to give it a new, improved look or to enhance storage solutions around the kitchen.
3. Make sure you keep the stuff that you need access on a daily basis at an easily accessible place. With the main purpose behind the remodeling in mind, you can focus on organizing and functionality of the space to suit the needs of your family.
4. Determine what the main functionality of your kitchen is, try and remember what they were from last week's activities. This would give you a good idea on how to organize your kitchen storage solutions, what to completely get rid of to de-clutter the room and what you could move to another room of the house.
5. Remove all the junk from your kitchen drawers. What would be called as junk? Here are a few examples of things that should be gotten rid of, broken items, unused items that has never been used or hasn't been used for one year, orphaned lids of jars, duplicate or extra items etc.
