Floyd Mayweather Vs Marcos Maidana Online Weigh in Info

49
There is plenty of excitement surrounding the May 3 clash between Floyd "Money" Mayweather and Marcos "El Chino" Maidana, and the same can be said for their weigh-in on Friday evening.

Weigh-ins are more ceremonial than anything, but they still tend to capture the attention of boxing fans. There is always plenty of trash talk, and the potential is constantly present for the fighters to get physical with each other before they ever step into the ring.

Mayweather usually tends to keep his cool, so there may not be too many fireworks, but you never know what might happen when two competitors come face to face.

Here is everything you need to know about how and when to watch the welterweight weigh-in prior to the highly anticipated Mayweather vs. Maidana bout.

Where: MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas

When: Friday, May 2 at 6 p.m. ET

It is a well-known fact that Mayweather can walk the walk, as evidenced by his perfect 45-0 record, but few can talk the talk better than him as well. Some boxing observers argue that Mayweather isn't always the most exciting fighter due to his defensive style; however, he never fails to entertain when it comes to building up and hyping his upcoming contests.

That was on full display during Wednesday's official press conference as Mayweather had plenty to say about how he intended to take care of Maidana. Although nothing Mayweather ever says is particularly surprising, he dropped what some might consider a bombshell at the press conference when he admitted that no opponent has ever forced him to perform at the highest level he is capable of, according to Lem Satterfield of The Ring:

If he brings his best, then he may be the first guy to actually make me dig into my bag of tricks and pull out my A-game. Hopefully, he makes me pull out my A-game because throughout my career, all that I've had to use was my B- and C-game to beat every guy. I've never had to use my A-game over my B-game, so we'll just have to see. http://www.mayweathervmaidana.com/

Mayweather vs Maidana Whether Mayweather was being truthful or simply attempting to get into Maidana's head is up for interpretation, but that line certainly had people talking. Mayweather may have said everything he needed to at the press conference, however, he won't pass up an opportunity to take some parting shots.

Mayweather always loves to get the last word in prior to his fights, and boxing fans will be on the edge of their seats in anticipation of what he'll come up with for the weigh-in.
