How to Remove Mold From Inside a Car
- 1). Pull any loose mats out of the car.
- 2). Vacuum the removed mats with a HEPA-filtered vacuum. The filter is effective at trapping mold spores, and the vacuum will remove most loose mold growth.
- 3). Fill a spray bottle halfway with warm water, and fill the second half with white vinegar.
- 4). Spray the remaining mold stains with the water and vinegar solution. White vinegar is a an efficient mold remover and natural cleaning agent.
- 5). Scrub at the mold with either a scrubbing sponge or a scrub brush.
- 6). Blot any remaining moisture with a dry rag, and repeat the Steps 1 through 5, as necessary, until the mold is removed.
