Super Sonic Vs. Super Shadow
- Sonic the Hedgehog first changed into Super Sonic to defeat the Biolizard in Sonic Adventure 2 on the Dreamcast and Gamecube. Shadow the Hedgehog first became Super Shadow at the same time, but appeared to fall to Earth after the conflict and die.
- While both Super Sonic and Super Shadow are much more powerful in their super forms, some of their powers differ. Super Sonic can run faster than the speed of light, while Super Shadow gains the ability to fly.
- Chaos control is a power gained by Sonic when he is in proximity to all seven Chaos Emeralds, which allows him to teleport himself or other objects. Shadow also has the Chaos Control ability, but he can use Chaos Control without being near any of the Chaos Emeralds.
- Super Shadow wears limiter rings as a way to contain his incredible powers. When removed, he is considerably more powerful than Super Sonic has ever shown himself to be.
- In the video game "Shadow the Hedgehog" for the XBox, GameCube and PS2, Shadow defeats Sonic during the fight with Diablon. In every other instance in which the two fight, be it in the comics, manga, video games or TV shows, the fight ends in a draw.
