Northwest Territory Tent Setup Instructions
- 1). Pull the tent from the bag and lay it out in the area where you will be setting it up. Set aside all the poles and stakes.
- 2). Use your mallet to pound stakes that will secure the main tent structure to the ground. There are small nylon loops located at the corners and the middle of the tent where the stakes are pounded in. Make sure that you pull the bottom of the tent tight as you put in the stakes.
- 3). Break out your poles. You should have five poles, two long ones, two medium poles and one that creates the circular door.
- 4). Slide your two long poles through the diagonal fabric flaps along the sides and top of the tent. The poles should come together at the very top of the tent, forming a giant X over the entire structure.
- 5). Slide your two shorter poles from front door to back door using more of the fabric flaps to hold them in place.
- 6). Fasten the poles in to the grommets on the tent. The grommets are located down where the stake holders are on the tent and the poles should simply pop in to them, propping up the tent and pulling it tight.
- 7). Slide your short pole in to the door fabric flaps and affix it in to the grommets. This will pop the door out slightly and make it round.
- 8). Pull the rain fly over the top of the tent and attach it at the corners where the stakes are.
