How to Change a Virtual Memory Drive
- 1). Click the "Start" button on your taskbar.
- 2). Select the "Control Panel" option.
- 3). Click the "System and Maintenance" category and select "System."
- 4). Click the "Advanced system settings" option. Select the "Advanced" tab. Click the "Settings..." button under the Performance section.
- 5). Click the "Advanced" tab, then click the "Change..." button in the Virtual Memory section.
- 6). Select the drive you want to utilize the virtual memory from. Allocate the amount of hard drive space you want to use as virtual memory under the Custom size area.
