24

Love Jon Stewart and want to be part of The Daily Show’s live audience? Get your hands on a pair of free tickets and attend the show! How? Just follow these simple instructions.

Please note, when you take a look at both the “Difficulty” and “Time Required” section , please realize that those categories reflect the ease of requesting tickets and the length of time it takes to request tickets.

Obtaining tickets or a reservation to a taping can take much longer.

In the case of some shows, it can take months – even years. After all, most shows have a ton of fans and the tickets are free.

Difficulty: Easy

Time Required: No more than 15 minutes.

Here's How:
  1. You can get free tickets one of two ways. Either request tickets online at The Daily Show's official site, or try to get standby tickets the day of the show.
  2. Once online, select a date you would like to see the show from the interactive calendar provided. If no dates are open, check back, as dates do open up. Select the number of tickets you'd like - up to four.
  3. Fill out the online form and check the box to accept the show's terms and conditions.
  4. If your date isn’t available, you can try emailing The Daily Show at requesttickets@thedailyshow.com. Include your name, the show date you would like to attend, and the number of tickets requested (again, up to four). Await confirmation from the show that you do, in fact, have tickets.
  5. Submit e-mail requests only one time. Multiple requests will be rejected.

  1. You must be 18 or over to attend. And you must bring government ID to be admitted.
  2. The Daily Show tapes around 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday at NEP Studio 52, at 733 11th Avenue, between 51st and 52nd Streets.

Tips:
  1. You must be 18 or over to attend. And you must bring government ID to be admitted.
  2. Eating, drinking and smoking are prohibited in the studio. Also, no cameras or recording devices of any kind.
  3. Tickets are non-transferable and you may only attend a taping once every six months, unless asked back by the staff.
  4. Audiences are often overbooked. Admission is not guaranteed, even though you have a ticket.

What You Need:
  • Government issued photo ID.
