  • Research...
  • Research!

however I truly believe it is that important! During your interview, the conductor of the interview is going to basically survey you.
The interviewer will try to find the real you through a series of questions and through watching your body language and the way you interact.
Here is the bottom line for the company that you are interviewing with: Do you understand the purpose of the company, does your skill set and attitude align with these purposes, and how will you come aboard the company and solve problems and create solutions? Keep this bottom line in mind when doing your research.
Your purposes and the company's purposes.
When you join a company as an employee, you are there to work.
Your work involves solving problems.
It also involves creating products and performing services that people need and are paying their hard earned money to purchase! What you need to do in the interview is convey to your interviewer that you understand the company and that you understand how to help the company perform its function better! Show how your experience or credentials will benefit the company.
Provide examples of how you have used your skills to solve problems and how such skills will work for the company you are interviewing for.
So what to research? Therefore your research will involve studying the background and history of the company.
