You might be thinking, "I've heard of those that change your eye color, but they were instead of that kind of long name, just called plain colored contacts.
Are these the same?" Yes, these are the same in the way that these also change your eye color like opaque type of color contacts, meaning that instead of just adding some color to your eye these change it completely.
