OneTouch UltraMini Coding Instructions
- Each time you begin a new canister of test strips, you'll need to code your meter to make sure you get accurate blood-sugar results. Check the container for the code, a large number to the left of the white place on the label. Next, insert a OneTouch Ultra test strip to turn on the meter, with the end that collects blood facing outward. You'll see the start-up screen, and then the code display appears for three seconds.
- If this is the first time you've used the meter and have not entered a code before, the display will show a C with a flashing "--." Otherwise, it displays the most recent code you entered. If the number does not match the number on your canister, use the up/down arrows to change it.
- Press the up or down arrows to match the code on the meter to the code on the test strip canister. The number will flash for three seconds and then turn solid. Next, the blood drop symbol will appear, and you can go ahead with your blood test.
