• 1). Go to the "Start" menu, click "All Programs," right-click "Startup" and select "Open."
  
  
• 2). Right-click the shortcut for the corresponding Norton product and select "Delete." Click "Yes" in the confirmation pop-up.
  
  
• 3). Close the "Startup" folder and restart your computer.
  
  

System Configuration

• 1). Go to the "Start" menu, click "Run," type "msconfig" in the search field and click "OK."
  
  
• 2). Click the "Startup" tab in the new window, uncheck Norton entries, click "Apply" and then "OK."
  
  
• 3). Restart your computer.
