The Winds

• The Winds is located on the white sand beach of North Carolina. This is a small family owned resort that offers a relaxing stay in a quiet, casual atmosphere. Guests can enjoy beverages at the poolside Tiki Bar, relax in the whirlpool, or read a book in an oceanside hammock. The resort features a landscape of lush tropical foliage. For accommodations, the resort offers rooms, suites and private resort cottages. All guests can enjoy wireless Internet, the use of three pools, one of which is indoors, and a free Southern style breakfast buffet during their stay. Acqualina Resort

• The Acqualina Resort is located on four and a half acres of ocean front property in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, halfway between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. The resort was awarded the AAA Five Diamond Award for 2010. It features 54 guest rooms, 43 suites and 188 private residences and has a full service oceanfront spa onsite, with three oceanfront swimming pools.
