    • 1). Use the following template when citing a work of art in APA style: Artist's last name, artist's first initial. (Year). Title of artwork [medium of artwork]. Location of artwork. Retrieved from URL (if applicable). For example, Kiefer, A. (1984).     • 2). Use the following template when citing a work of art from a printed source in Chicago style: Artist's last name, artist's first name. "Title of artwork," medium, date of artwork (Location [if known]), city [if not already named). In Title of Printed Source, by Author of Printed Source, page or plate/figure/slide number.
