I was the other day doing some work on the bathroom with another friend. He was helping me to fix the toilet. Something that had to do with the hoses that connect the watering system. I really don't understand that much about those things. So I just went to a store where they sell stuff for bath and accessories for it. I bought the right things. I really didn't know what was it, but my friend gave me a list of things that I needed to get the things done. As a matter of fact, it was a free day and I also picked up a few beers for us to make the job fun.
So we were there, just doing the job and I was helping a little. Removing some nuts here and there, losing another. We were having a good time, just taking the time to get the job done and laughing while doing it. So, i took like a small pause in doing something, I got up and unconsciously I leaned in what was close to me, to rest a bit. Little that I know, I was leaned on the sink! Of course, it broke. Oh my god! I said. I just was fixing something that was not working right and meanwhile I just break a new thing. I couldn't believe it. I wasn't that mad, but it took me completely by surprise. It is a small bathroom and I just had my mind absent. My friend just kept on laughing at me, too. So, what do? I just had to go once again to the bath and accessories shop and get a new sink. Hopefully those guys at the stores know their job and just have the right knowledge to help out people like me in this situations. I just told them what had happened, and the told me the quickest way to solve the problem. The told me in what section of the bath and accessories store was located the sink that I needed.
I painfully bought the new sink and returned to my home. My friend was waiting for me in a TV break. He was still laughing at me, but at least I had returned with the right part. My friend had already seated the toilet right, and tighten all the nuts. He even had fixed my bath and accessories! I was surprised. All that was left was for me to go there, unpack the sink, and put it in place. It was difficult because as I said, I don't know that much about this stuff, but, the people at the store explained to me everything and really fast I followed their instructions Removed the broken one and unplugged the connections. Plug the new one and seat it on the right place was easier than I think.
Time has passed since that time, my friend still laughs every time he remembers the event, but I learned a couple of things. To watch out where I lean to rest and how to change a sink.
