Advanced Bingo Strategy
When playing bingo, everyone is looking for a strategy that will put them ahead of other players. While it may sound simple to listen for numbers, mark them on a card, and call bingo if you have the pattern, that is not always the case. Many bingo clubs have come up with tons of patterns and ways to play. They do this while trying to keep the game interesting. How much fun could it be to sit through hundreds of games simply looking for a straight line?
There are, however, a few problems with these new patterns. Many of these new ways to bingo have different names or variations. While you may call a pattern a "T" others may refer to it as a "cross". You have to make sure you are familiar with the terminology being used. At the same time, make sure you know what the term means where you are playing. A "T" at one club may be one line down the middle and another across the top. However, down the road it might be a vertical and horizontal middle line resembling a lower case "t".
There are also variations such as crazy "T". In this case you may be able to form a "T" in any direction, For example, upside down, or at a ninety degree left or right turn. This can also become very confusing with the different shapes. Some clubs use snake, flag, postage stamp, and many other patterns. Then they twist them around by adding crazy to the title. These can confuse novice players when trying to manage multiple cards. While most clubs have a program or sign on the board overhead to display the pattern, it can still be no walk in the park.
Another issue to be aware of is the type of game you are playing. There are games that start out with a single line, progresses to a pattern, and are finally finished by a complete blackout. In these situations there can be a winner for each style all in one game. If you are really lucky, you could end up wining multiple times off one card in one game, though this is not the normal way it has been done. The best strategies you can have to playing bingo, is know what you.re playing and how you can win. Then you just sit back and mark the numbers.
