IRobot Scooba Competition
Many years after iRobot was founded and created a name in the robotics industry, there have been other companies that tried to emulate the company's concept. The first is Evolution Robotics along with Mint Automatic Floor Cleaner which is presumably compared to iRobot's Scooba. But would they need to be compared to each other well?
Well for one, shape is the most seen difference between the Mint and so the Scooba. The Mint has square shape while the Scooba features a round structure. iRobot designed the Scooba to possess a round shape so it won't get stuck in corners and it'll be navigating around the floor easily. For the Mint floor cleaning robot, it still has to backup just before turning if it bumps on a flat surface.
