Hens Nights in the Spotlight

33
Who doesn't love hens night photos with all the crazy games, accessories and shenanigans? Well, at Love is a Place Photography we always suggest to our Brisbane brides-to-be that they get a professional wedding photographers Brisbane to capture the night. Hire a bridal photographers or someone who specialise in event photography; as long as they can work with low lighting/night time scenes, you're all set!

One of the reasons it's great to have a bridal photographer Brisbane present is that you can get photos at the exact right moments, and you don't have to worry about capturing the events and reactions that unfold. They can capture the reactions of yourself and your guests when you open those naughty presents, when you play the games where you have to pin an appendage to a fine specimen, and those particularly shaped baked goods that you wouldn't serve Grandma.

Another reason why it's a great idea to have someone else take the photos on your hens night is that they will most likely be the most sober person there, so you can count on the photos being clear and focused! We all know how people find a lot of blurry photos and pictures of floors and abstract never-to-be-determined-what-they-are things on your camera the day after a night out. So we recommend you take the stress and randomness out of having photos taken at your hens night, and hire a professional!

From a photographer's perspective it's also great fun for us to be hired for these types of events. It's a more laid-back kind of job and we get to mingle and hang out with the party, whilst of course being professional and hard working. It is important for a photographer who does events like this to use their social skills and be a fun contributor to the party as well as someone who is there to do a job. The party won't mind if the photographer has one drink and laugh along at the jokes that come up during the night, but they may feel a little uncomfortable if the photographer stays too far in the background and treats the event too formally. There is a fine line that a photographer has to know how to manoeuvre, but most people wouldn't have much trouble with this kind of job. It may in fact make their friends jealous that they basically get to attend great parties as part of their job!
