Make sure that one will fit properly into the slot of your old stereo.
In addition, when purchasing a new car stereo, you may be able to buy a harness which make specific to both your car and the car radio.
Buy one of these when you can and make the wiring a snap, literally! Collect these tools and materials: screwdriver, wire stripper, wire cutters and electrical tape.
You also need instructions for removing the dashboard of your car, remove,follow instructions to properly remove your old radio.
Remove the old stereo Disconnect the ground (negative) cable from the battery.

Remove the dash that covers your stereo.
unfasten and slide your old car stereo.
It is either a single plugin with many wires that are on the back of IT or a related bundle of individual cables.
If there are a bundle of wires in the back of the car stereo take your time and do and you will want to do it one at a time, to avoid confusion.

The positive wire from each speaker to the positive terminal first on the back of the stereo.
Then connect the negative wire from each speaker to the negative terminal on the back of the stereo.

The (-/black) cable, screw or bolt in the area where the Stereo is mounted behind the dashboard.
Make sure the wire is attached to metal, not plastic or fiberglass.
Connect of 12 permanent and ignition wires (both + / red) to the new car stereo.
Refer to your car Radio manual to insure the correct wiring.
Putting in the car stereo.
Now you should have a beautiful single-Connector to acquire all the right wires in your car - either from the wiring harness you purchased or one that came with your stereo check that all the correct wires are connected.
Slide your new car stereo in the bracket that came with it.
In some rare cases you may need to use the bracket from your old car stereo.
Plug the harness plug into the back of the new car stereo.
It was only a lone wire from your old car stereo left now.
This is the antenna.
Put it in your car stereo.

Slide your new stereo into the slot in the dashboard.
Do not screw it in yet, you must test it first.
Reconnect the negative cable from your car to the battery.
Turn your car and turn on your new stereo.
Turn up the volume to hear a little music and all your speakers to ensure that everything works.
Fasten your new stereo in place and put the dash cover.
