The menu includes German classics like sauerbraten with potato dumplings and red cabbage, weiner schnitzel and jaeger schnitzel alongside more exotic selections such as sautéed kangaroo medallions and filet of ostrich. Entrée prices are mostly in the $20 to $30 range, as of March 2010. The Edelweiss has three dining rooms: the main dining room, or Black Forest room, features German wood carvings in a Black Forest theme; the non-smoking Edelweiss room is decorated in a country motif; and the Mozart room is decorated in a Viennese red, white and gold theme with wallpaper imported from Germany. The Alpine pub provides diners with a full bar selection that includes 16 types of draught beer, and the pub also offers a tavern menu for guests who prefer the pub's more casual atmosphere. Reservations recommended. Located on Route 940 in Pocono Lake, the Edelweiss is on the left if you're coming from Blakeslee.

The tables are placed within small alcoves, which create a semi-private dining experience. The mood is festive, with German music and polkas and hand-painted wall murals.
