    Taco Cups

    • Make small taco cups. This is a simple, tasty meal that is easy to make. Get chips in the shape of scoops or cups. You can find these at most any local grocery store. Then add a small amount of refried beans to the bottom, followed by some ground beef (or whatever meat you put in tacos), then top with chopped tomatoes and cheese. You can add a dollop of sour cream and a black olive if you wish.

    Fruit Skewers

    • Cut fruit into different shapes, such as circles or stars. You can also make melon ball skewers if honeydew, watermelon and cantaloupe are in season. Another option is to make rocket ship skewers where you use things that are shaped like rocket ships. Some examples are inverted strawberries, banana slices and pineapple slices. You can also cut them to look like a rocket. Put a pointy

pineapple at the bottom, a strawberry next, then half a banana and finally a watermelon cut like a flame.

    Asparagus Blankets

    • This is a healthy party food that tricks kids because the dough makes it look so delicious. This is made the same way as pigs in a blanket, but you use a bunch of three or four asparagus, tomato slice and slice of mozzarella cheese in place of the small hot dog. Roll these up in a piece of pizza dough and cook them in the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake for about 20 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.

    Gelatin and Pudding Cups

    • Gelatin and pudding cups are desserts for kids' parties that let you get a little creative and make some interesting desserts. Make green or blue gelatin in plastic cups. While the gelatin is hardening in the refrigerator, place goodies inside it like gummy fish for an ocean-themed cup. You can place chocolate frogs on the green gelatin so it looks like they are on a lily pad. Chocolate pudding mud cups are a dessert kids can make too. These cups require chocolate pudding, cookie crumbs and gummy worms. Mix these all together and you have a mud cup.
