How to Uninstall Sprint Wireless
- 1). Click the Windows "Start" button.
- 2). Click "Control Panel."
- 3). Locate "Add or Remove Programs" and double-click on it. This opens another window that shows which programs are currently installed on the computer. Two programs need to be removed to completely uninstall Sprint Wireless.
- 4). Locate the program called "Mobile Broadband Generic Drivers" or something quite similar. Click on it to display the program information and then click on "Click here for support information." This displays the publisher, such as "Novatel Wireless", and should match the one that's displayed on the first screen when the Sprint program is opened.
- 5). Click "Remove" once you've verified that the publisher matches. Wait a few moments for the computer to uninstall it.
- 6). Locate the program called "Sprint Connection Manager" or "Sprint Mobile Broadband." The latter also has the same publisher listed in parentheses next to the program name, i.e. Sprint Mobile Broadband (Novatel Wireless). Click on the program and then click "Remove."
- 7). Wait for the uninstall to complete. Close any open windows and restart your computer.
