How to Clean Green Wrought Iron
- 1). Rinse the wrought iron furniture thoroughly with a garden hose to remove any loose dirt or debris. This isn't necessary for indoor furniture.
- 2). Fill a bucket with 1 gallon of warm water, and add 2 tbsp. of dish detergent.
- 3). Dip a cloth or sponge into the soapy water, and wring it out. Scrub the furniture starting at the top, and work your way down. Rinse the cloth or sponge in the bucket as needed to remove dirt.
- 4). Rinse the furniture thoroughly with a garden hose. If you're cleaning indoor furniture, empty the bucket and refill it with water. Dip a cloth into the water, and wring it out. Wipe over the furniture to remove any soap residue.
- 5). Allow the wrought iron furniture to air dry or dry it with a towel.
