How to Install a Motor Mount in a 2005 Honda Accord
- 1). Place the block of wood on the floor jack. Slide the jack under the engine and jack it up until the pressure is off the engine mounts.
- 2). Remove the nuts on the mount bolts, using the appropriate socket or wrench. Slide the bolts out of the mount. If the bolts do not come out easily, adjust the floor jack to take pressure off the bolts by lowering or raising the engine. Remove the engine mount.
- 3). Install the new engine mount and tighten the nuts and bolts. Lower the engine and remove the floor jack. Tighten the nuts and bolts firmly.
