Draw a long rectangular cube for the body of the car. Do this by drawing a rectangle pointing diagonally. The upper right corner of the rectangle should be pointing to the upper right side of the paper. Add a small parallelogram to the front of the rectangle. Do this by drawing a parallel line in front of the short left side of the rectangle. Connect this line with two vertical lines extending down from the corners of the rectangle. Add a parallel line to the bottom long line of the rectangle. Connect these with two vertical lines coming down from the bottom right and left corners of the rectangle.

Draw a rectangle in the middle of the cube for the roof of the car. Add the front window by attaching a trapezoid to the left side of the roof shape. The sides of the trapezoid should come diagonally from the upper and lower left corners of the roof rectangle.

    • 3). Draw a slightly smaller trapezoid on the right side of the roof for the back window. The sides of the trapezoid should start at the upper and lower right corners of the roof triangle. Add a small almost triangular trapezoid for the side window. Place this on the bottom right side of the roof shape. The bottom line of this trapezoid should connect the bottom left corner of the front window with the bottom right corner of the back window.

Draw racing stripes on the car with two sets of 2 parallel lines running across the hood, roof and back of the car. Make the lines on the roof slightly smaller than on the hood. Make the lines on the back of the car smaller than the roof. These racing stripes are very characteristic of Hot Wheels cars. They will set your illustration apart.

    • 5). Add wheels with wide (but short) cylinder shapes on the bottom front left and back right of the car. You can do this by drawing a two circles for each wheel. Space them slightly apart. Then connect these shapes with straight lines. To get the full "Hot Wheels effect," make sure that these wheels are a bit proportionally larger than normal wheels and tires. Keep the tires smooth as well.
