How to Make a Texas Rig
- 1). Slide a sinker onto the end of the fishing line with the narrow tip facing the rod tip. The wide end of the sinker is facing the end of the line.
- 2). Tie an off-set worm hook onto the end of the line.
- 3). Poke the point of the hook into the tip of the worm's head and push the hook into the worm 1/2 inch. Bring the hook point out of the worm's body and pull the hook through until only the portion between the 90-degree bend at the top of the hook and the hook eye remains in the worm.
- 4). Spin the hook around so the point faces the worm and push the point of the hook back into the worm burying the hook point and barb in the body of the worm.
