There are three problems in becoming emotionally entangled with a man for a long term relationship who's a risk taker.
Firstly, he may take one risk too many and kill himself! Secondly, one risk too many and injure himself for life, and thirdly, by doing either of those two things, he won't be a very good bet for the future as far as helping the woman raise the family.
