How Long to Get Pregnant? - A Father"s Perspective
Planning a child would be hard at the best of times, not planning a child can be harder, but when it just isn't working; what do you do? A lot of emphasis is placed on timing and planning that critical moment when ovulation is taking place.
For the father to be you are like a clock, then it's by the alarm clock.
Starting to forget the big picture, the entire process becomes mechanical and before long frustration sets in and the next thing you know you have a referral and the papers to take to the local fertility clinic.
The question arises; Who's fault is it? Who's not working right? Fear of tests set in, you're both just about to leave each other and that's when you give up.
"The Nothing Method" is where you both relax, return to work, concentrate on your careers, a month or two later you start talking to each other again, then you have a little romantic long weekend away and then she whispers in your ear I'm pregnant.
Unfortunately we have to recognize for some it just doesn't happen like that but there are options and the right methods to not let the entire process turn into pain.
There is a lot of useful information out there but also a lot of misinformation as well.
We are lead down a path of everything that possibly can go wrong will, antenatal classes are a resource that our parents never had along with obstetricians, they went to their GP, no mid-wife, no $2000 pregnancy management fee.
1.
YOU are planning to bring a child into the world.
2.
You're NOT trying to get pregnant.
3.
Relax, enjoy each other.
4.
DON'T plan, allow for the fact it is going to happen, NOT IF but WHEN.
You do have to prepare but do it without demanding stress.
We know it's not as easy as it sounds but form your own opinions and not that of others.
