Chronic suffering and symptoms that lead to Post Abortion Syndrome, a form of Prolonged Adaptation Stress Disorder (PASS), are commonly seen in women who abort their child, be it voluntarily, forcibly, or due to unavoidable medical complications.
The trauma of the syndrome is equally experienced by all of them irrespective of the reason.

3)Tendency of religious women to think of the act as a sin and associate the setbacks in life as a punishment from God.
4)Irritability and hyper-anxiety 5)Insomnia and other sleep disorders 6)Eating disorders, headaches, and increased heart rate 7)Hatred for those who influenced her decision to abort 8)Over-protective or over-abusive for her future children 9)Psychological detachment and tendency to refrain from thoughts, places, and activities associated with abortion.
10)Drugs and alcohol addiction, as well as self-harming behaviors 11) Tendency to fantasize the age of the unborn baby every year on the date corresponding to date of abortion.
This is commonly called the 'Anniversary Syndrome".
The best way to deal with this syndrome is to seek medical care as soon as possible without letting the woman subjugate her depressive emotions, expecting them to heal on their own.
