At Chez Rouge, Bo notes to Hope how quickly Chelsea took off. Hope deduces that she probably felt uncomfortable. “Why? Because she broke up with Nick?” assumes Bo. “I didn’t know that you knew,” replies Hope. Bo wonders why Max suddenly left the celebration.
Hope later gives Bo a report on Ciara, who is “absolutely perfect,” and went right to sleep after eating a really good dinner at Caroline’s house.
She informs Bo that Steve and Kayla are at the hospital with Joey, and it’s still touch and go. Bo believes his little nephew will pull through. He wonders if they should stop by the hospital and check on him. Hope remarks how she just suggested the same thing to Kayla, but she said no since she wanted Bo and Hope to enjoy themselves and have a nice evening. Kate then arrives on Roman’s arm. “Well look what the cat dragged in," jokes Bo to Roman. Hope announces that she and Bo are there for an early celebration with Nick Fallon. Hope invites Roman and Kate to join them and gives them the latest scoop on Steve and Kayla. Kate questions if anyone knows why Kayla went into early labor and delivered her baby prematurely. Bo mentions how Kayla went through a lot of stress when Ava Vitali was holding them hostage. Additionally, she was worried that Martino Vitali was going to kill Steve. Kate expresses her disbelief at reading about Martino being a drug heir. “You knew Martino Vitali,” confronts Hope.
Kate admits she knew Martino a long time ago, but had no idea what a monster he had become. Roman tells Bo and Hope that he already talked to Kate about her involvement with Martino. Bo states that it’s water under the bridge. They hear screams of excitement from Maggie nearby, who marvels how gorgeous Anna’s wedding ring is. Tony requests the best table in the house. Anna reveals that they just returned from their honeymoon in Bora Bora.
Roman, Kate, Bo, Hope, Tony, and Anna all sit together to celebrate Tony and Anna’s recent nuptials. Maggie offers to send over some champagne for the newlyweds. A beaming Anna shares how they spent their honeymoon in Bora Bora. She then notes how well Bo looks and assumes the transplant surgery was a complete success. Bo states that Dr. Jonas patched him up and he’s as good as new. Anna asks about Chelsea. Hope says she’s doing well. Kate recalls how frightened they all were for Bo and Chelsea. Roman knew Chelsea and Bo would be just fine and recites the old saying, “we take a lickin, but we keep right on tickin.” This makes the gang chuckle. Nosey Anna asks Kate if she and Roman are back together again. Roman and Kate chuckle as Roman claims they just decided to have some dinner and catch up. Hope shares how Maggie received a green certification for Chez Rouge. Bo shares how he and Hope are trying to make their house as eco-friendly as possible. Anna suggests renovating their home as well. Tony believes it’s a great idea, but they have yet to decide where they’re going to live. Maggie comes back to the table with champagne.
Anna and Tony happily share more details about their honeymoon before they head to the dance floor. Roman then kicks Bo under the table and hints for him to take Hope to the dance floor. Kate whines how Tony and Anna were all over each other and wishes they would get a room. “Kate, come on. Give em’ a break. They’re in looooove,” smiles Roman. “I think they’re in heat,” surmises Kate. Roman asks Kate to dance, which she accepts. Meanwhile, Anna dances with Tony and shares her suspicion that something’s going on between Roman and Kate. As Bo and Roman dance with their respective partners, they joke about how long they think Tony and Anna’s marriage will last.
Anna asks Tony if he slept with Kate before they were married. Tony says of course not and suggests throwing her to the floor and ravishing her right there, since it would prove that she’s the only woman for him. Bo and Hope continue to dance as she asks him how he’s feeling. He believes he can dance all night and asks about her shoulder. She admits it’s a little sore but wants to keep dancing. Bo suggests something more fun and kisses her. Roman notes to Kate how happy Tony and Anna seem and tells her to lighten up. Kate brings up how Lucas is under house arrest at the DiMera mansion living with E.J. and Sami. Roman wants to talk to her about meddling in Sami and Lucas’s lives.
The giddy newlyweds finish dancing and rejoin Bo and Hope. Bo jokingly suggests they get a room. Hope asks Anna if she’s going to quit her job and work for Tony. Meanwhile, Kate declares to Roman that she’s absolutely through with interfering in Sami and Lucas’s lives and she means it this time. Roman is glad to hear this. Anna announces that she’s decided to put her career on hold until she decides what to do. Roman and Kate rejoin the gang and they all make a toast to Tony and Anna.
At the DiMera mansion, Marlena flashes back to being at the police station suggesting to Roman that there was no proof John was involved in the drug smuggling. She comes back to reality and answers the doorbell to Ava. “What are you doing here?” she asks. Ava introduces herself. A frowning Marlena says she knows who she is. Ava assumes that E.J. already spoke to Marlena about her. Marlena didn’t know she and E.J. were friends. Ava clarifies that she’s just a client of his and she really needs someone to talk to. Marlena simply tells her to call her office in the morning. Ava insists she needs to speak with her tonight. Marlena notes how inappropriate it was for Ava to come there announced. Ava apologizes, but she feels desperate and claims she has no-one else to talk to. Marlena isn’t sure she’s the right person to help Ava, since Bo, Hope, Steve, and Kayla are very good friends of hers. She affirms that she was on the plane that Ava allegedly tampered with and gives Ava a guilt trip when she reveals that Shawn Brady was her father-in-law. “I am so sorry,” laments a remorseful Ava, who is ready to rush out. Marlena isn’t sure that she’s the right person to help Ava, but is willing to listen. Ava thanks her and notes that E.J. was right about her.
