Counter Attack Post Smoking Effects

25
Quitting from an addicting smoking habit can take a lot of courage and self-discipline.
For some, it can even take a lot of money on nicotine remedies while for a greater number of people who tried to quit, it is still an ongoing battle.
A State of Mind.
While quitting smoking can be a fast process for some; people who have been hooked to this addiction just can't resist from experiencing a relapse.
Unsurprisingly, relapses can happen several times and in a very high rate.
Smoking is such a powerful habit that is not easy to let go.
But as they say, if you are willing to let go of a bad habit, you can and will do no matter what it takes to get rid of it.
Smoking does put a toll on the psychological behavior of a person and when intake is suddenly stopped; the mind aggressively craves for it.
Smoking is not the culprit though; it is your mind.
And in order for you to completely get rid of a behavior such as nicotine puffing; condition your mind first and foremost to resist any temptation of lighting a cigarette stick again.
A Treat to Oneself.
What most quitters fail to do in the process of quitting is to enjoy.
They think too much of the phase that they are going through which just adds to the burden of quitting completely.
A splendid way of a counter-attack when depression strikes (which is usually caused by the absence of nicotine), is to treat yourself to anything you like.
Lighting a cigarette is of course, not one of the things but there are certainly other things that you like, right? Maybe going out with good friends to have a good time is on the list.
Or go and have a body massage and then proceed shopping afterwards.
These "feel-good" things allow you to forget smoking and the idea related to it.
Feeling depressed or moody because of a missing nicotine ingredient in your body won't have any chance of striking in if you keep yourself occupied and happy.
