  "The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning" is the first part in a retelling of the original Spyro story. You control the young dragon Spyro in his adventure to rescue other dragons from the clutches of The Dark Master. In the process, you'll learn new techniques and become a powerful multi-elemental dragon. The game requires quick reflexes and careful management of limited abilities, which is sometimes quite difficult. To help players through the tricky moments, the developers included two cheats. They also included a secret easter egg for those persistent enough to beat the game.
  
  

Unlimited Breath

• As a dragon, Spyro's main weapon is his breath. He can breathe fire, water, electricity and pure earth. These powerful attacks have a limit, however. He can only breathe so much before he runs out of juice. Typically, you have to collect crystals to restore his breath power. In a tight spot, you can also employ a cheat. Pause the game and press "Up," "Up," "Down," "Down," "Left," "Right," "Left," "Right," "L1," "R1," "L1" and "R1." Now unpause the game. If you performed the cheat correctly, you'll hear a chime and have unlimited breath power.
  
  

Unlimited Health

• Although Spyro is a dragon, his scales can only protect him from so much damage. If he takes too much of a beating, Spyro will die and the game will end. You can track the decline of his health by watching the health meter, and if you're lucky, you'll find a crystal that can heal him. Alternatively, you can use a cheat to give Spyro unlimited health. Pause the game and enter "Up," "Up," "Down," "Down," "Left," "Right," "Left," "Right," "L1," "L1," "R1" and "R1." Unpause the game. If you entered the code successfully, you'll hear a chime.

• Does Spyro's voice sound familiar? It might be because the actor behind the dragon is Elijah Wood. And if you beat the game, you'll get access to a secret interview. After beating Spyro, return to the main menu and choose "Extras." You'll find an interview with Elijah Wood.
