How to Make Stickers for a Racecar
- 1). Select the parts of the racecar that will be covered in stickers or racecar wrap. There are wrap kits, full wraps and semi wraps to consider. Decide how much of the car you want wrapped or stickered.
- 2). Photograph your racecar to plan stickers for it. Take a picture of the side of the racecar with the camera lens about 2.5 feet from the ground--a straight, one-side shot. Repeat for the other side and the back and front of the racecar.
- 3). Draw the racecar body views from the pictures in a sketch pad if you are graphically inclined, or scan the pictures into a digital editing program.
- 4). Experiment with different colors, designs, patterns and placements for advertisers' logos using either the racecar sketch or the racecar photos in the digital editing program.
- 5). Select a company to produce the customized racecar stickers or racecar wrap, or both, that will be needed to complete the look for the racecar to make it ready for the races.
