How to Replace Acura Headlights
- 1). Pop the hood to the Acura and locate the headlight casing at the front of the vehicle.
- 2). Unscrew the headlight lens with a Phillips screwdriver. Pull the headlight casing straight out of the Acura. This will get you access to the headlight bulb.
- 3). Remove the bulb by turning it in a counterclockwise direction. Once it stops turning, pull straight out of the bulb socket.
- 4). Push in a new bulb. Use a rag or gloves to handle the new bulb as oils from your fingers can cause the bulb to heat unevenly and lead to cracking. Twist the bulb in a clockwise direction until it locks into place.
- 5). Turn your car on to make sure that headlight is working.
- 6). Push the headlight casing back in place and replace the lens. Screw the lens back in to secure it.
- 7). Repeat Steps 2 through 6 to replace the other headlight.
- 8). Close the hood of the car. It is now ready to drive.
