How to Remove a Radio in the Chrysler 300
- 1). Place the panel-removal tool between the silver bezel around the radio and the dashboard itself. Pry the bezel up and off the dashboard, then carefully pull the remaining clips free using your hands. Unplug any wiring to the clock and climate controls using your hands.
- 2). Unscrew the four Phillips-head screws around the perimeter of the stereo from the dashboard using the Phillips-head screwdriver.
- 3). Take the deck out of the dash with both hands. Balance the stereo in one hand and remove the electrical-harness connections in the back side of the deck with your hands. Take the deck out of the car.
