Central location, spacious rooms, and spa facilities make Febri’s Hotel & Spa a great bargain for patrons. Febri’s may have only three stars to its name, but the friendliness and the little touches (frangipani flowers on the sheets, employees calling guests by name) ensures the place can hold its own with any five-star establishment nearby.

Guests can choose from several different types of rooms. Superior rooms offer ample space for two people, with room to spare for surfboards and other equipment. The larger Deluxe Family rooms offer space for a family of three. The Room for Five offers a king-size bed plus double bunk beds and a large bathroom. Every room is provided with an air conditioner, telephone, television, refrigerator, hair dryer, mini bar, and sofa bed.

The spa offers terrific value, with good service for an average of $25 per session. Spa enthusiasts can pick and choose from a number of treatments at surprisingly low prices; beginners might want to start with a relaxing 90-minute Balinese massage.

The pool is surprisingly large, with a fountain in the middle and concrete elephants spouting water around its perimeter.

If you feel like exploring the rest of Kuta, the hotel offers immediate access to Tuban Beach. Its location puts Febri's right in the thick of things: located on Jalan Kartika Plaza, the hotel is a few minutes’ walk away from Discovery Mall, Central Kuta Shopping and Entertainment complex, and the Kuta Art Market.

On the downside, older guests will rue the hotel’s absence of an elevator, and ground-floor guests might complain about the lack of privacy (curious passersby can actually peer into ground-floor windows).

All in all, Febri’s is a great compromise if you don’t want to spend much by way of accommodation – the service and the extras will make you forget that you gave anything up at all.
