Do You Know the Signs and Symptoms of Anxiety and Panic Attacks Or is it a Heart Attack?
One day out of the blue you wake up or you are in the middle of a normal day, you begin having feelings that you have never experienced before.
These feelings could include: * Extreme exhaustion.
* Your heart palpitating.
* Extreme fear and dread.
* Chills and/or sweats.
* Shortness of breath.
* All over body aches.
* You could also experience many other symptoms not listed here.
You may be having an anxiety attack or a panic attack.
Generally an anxiety attack or a panic attack is not usually life-threatening but if you have never experienced anything like this before, it is advisable to go to an Emergency Room and have a proper diagnosis.
DO NOT attempt to make your own diagnosis.
There are thought to be many reasons and causes of anxiety and panic attacks.
* Childhood traumatic event(s).
* Low self esteem.
* Maybe you have some sort of birth defect that you are embarrassed about.
* Improper diet and lack of exercise.
* Chemical imbalances within the brain and body.
What ever has caused your anxiety and/or panic attacks, you need to be diagnosed, see a therapist or counselor and then together decide on a treatment regimen.
Again, if this is your first episode of any of these symptoms, do not just assume it is anxiety or a panic attack.
Do not be ashamed of this illness by worrying that people will think you are crazy or some other "outdated" label that people used to use years back.
If you suspect this is what you are experiencing look upon this as an "illness" just like any other illness.
You do not have total control over what has brought this on, but once diagnosed you can seek treatment and live a happy normal life with whatever treatment regimen you have chosen.
