How to Bake Hair Onto Clay Doll
- 1). Place a 1-inch piece of polymer clay into a string clay extruder.
- 2). Squeeze the extruder to push out spaghetti-like strings. These strings will be the hair on the clay doll. Repeat this process to make as much hair as you desire for your doll.
- 3). Fold a handful of clay strings over, but do not press the fold flat.
- 4). Lay the folded side along the part on the head of the clay doll. Allow the strings to hang down over one shoulder of the doll.
- 5). Repeat this process, but lay the folded strings along the part and over the opposite shoulder.
- 6). Press a clay pointer tool gently along the part to secure the clay hair onto the doll's head. Adjust the individual clay hair as needed to get the look you want for your doll.
- 7). Place the doll onto a cookie sheet and bake it in a 200-degree Fahrenheit oven for 10 minutes. Allow the doll to cool completely.
