Hello, this is Gail Gates. Today, we are going to learn about the recommended variety of aloe plant used for harvesting. It's great for treating burns and for rashes too. This is a nice aloe vera arrangement. At the bottom are succulents but at the top is an aloe vera. There are actually over 500 different varieties of aloe vera plants. But the ones that are most popular are also used for burns and rashes are the ones that you'll find at your local hardware and nursery store. They are called the aloe ferox and the aloe barbadinus. These are the varieties most commonly used for harvesting and for pharmaceutical purposes.
