How to BBQ Corn on the Cob in the Husk
Things You'll Need
Instructions
1Peel back the corn husk from the cob, but do not remove it where it attaches to the bottom of the cob. Peel carefully to avoid tearing the husks.
2
Rinse the corn under cool water. Rub your hand up and down the cob to dislodge the silk strings. Pull off and discard the strings.
3
Fold the husks back around the cob, covering it completely. Twist the tips of the husk together to help keep them closed.
4
Fill a bowl with cold water. Soak the prepared corn cobs in the water for 10 to 15 minutes.
5
Heat the grill. Set propane grills to medium-high heat. Create a hot coal bed for charcoal grills.
6
Shake the excess water from the corn cobs and lay them on the grill. Turn the cobs with tongs every 5 minutes to cook them evenly. Cook the corn for 25 to 40 minutes, or until the kernels are tender and juicy.
